I apologise for the slim pickings. Its not because there haven't been any great posts this week, but because I've been away on holiday and haven't had a chance to do as much reading. Anyway, this week the posts I've liked on other personal finance blogs have been:

• don't budget to the penny @ blueprint for financial prosperity. I don't budget to the penny either, I round up to the whole pound. It means I'm never under and I really can't be bothered to get into any more detail than that.
• sign up for free customer rewards @ the simple dollar. This is just a great tip from trent's five minute finance series.
